The NAZ is a bit oversold right now, specifically sectors such as networking. MSFT ran up from 98 1/8 the day it reported earnings. It has gapped up as you can see a number of times. The "gap" rule applies to ALL stocks where TA is relevant! It must fill the gaps.

If you start at 98 then we have had a 17% increase since that close. If you expect a 30% retracement of the increase, then that takes you back to 110. I see technically, the start of the distribution started @108-110 area. This gives me a lower limit to target.

I would never buy this here, it's an awful entry point. Look for 110 as the highest entry point. If you can wait a few weeks, the 105 area should be available.(IMHO)!

Any crazy news, as you know, blows all short term TA out of the water.

BTW, People never thought INTC would see 128 again,(pre-split) after it hit 165. They may never see it again as of now though!!
