[Another Institution's Take On AMTX]

I got another institution's take on AMTX recently:

"Amati is a real company. There are 3-4 other companies in the area. The technology looks very promising, but we probably won't know for sure for another six months or so. All stocks in the group look pretty much the same."

Of key importance, IMHO, is the absence, once again, of ANY hints of financial problems in this take, as in all prior ones. I find this VERY encouraging; given the recent stock action, Amati may have a problem -- but at least it doesn't appear to be a financial one. (If Amati has a cash pinch, Wall Street's rumor mills will sniff it out; they haven't, so they probably don't.) The significance of a contract has also, once again, been underscored.

For what it's worth...
