Interesting in light of Ms. Smith running as far as she did with 2 "fatal" stab wounds, whereas, from what we can tell without the autopsy report, it appears on the surface that none of Ms. Jovin's stab wounds may have been fatal per se.

But as someone pointed out yesterday, wouldn't she have run to the nearest house to ask for help? If so, we must conclude she was stabbed quite near where she fell: we know that people were at home on both sides of the street.
