Leigh & ALL; Here's an example of what Michael Dell should be doing:

<<AT&T (T:NYSE - news) CEO C. Michael Armstrong reaffirmed the company's 1999 earnings estimates of between $2.15 and $2.20 a share, in line with the 25-analyst estimate of $2.19. The company said it expects to show 1999 pro forma revenue growth between 5% and 7%, and 2000 pro forma revenue growth between 8% and 9%, excluding the impact of Concert, its joint venture with British Telecom.>>

I just can't understand why Dell doesn't deny all the rumors and negative Analyst's comments that have been recently released. Is it possible that the rumors and comments are true? Or, is it possible that Dell themselves don't know if they are going to make the quarter and year?
