Since everyone is throwing around predictions for the market over the next few days/months, I'll throw my 2 cents in too. This market has always turned bearcrap into gold. Just when you think this market cannot continue upwards, somehow it does its best imitation of the Tennessee Titans and pulls off the unpredictable. We may not go straight up from here but I certainly don't see a complete market meltdown from these levels. Can anyone actually imagine a 40% correction in the Naz? From Naz 4000 down to Naz 2400? Dow 11500 down to Dow 6500? Can you say NOT! I think the definition of Bear Market is 20%. At 40% we'd be looking at Armageddon. I'm not sure if the 40% number being thrown around tonite was in reference to QCOM only or the broad market averages. Nobody, absolutely nobody can predict what the market will do in the future. The market will go up and the market will go down, I can guarantee that. What I cannot guarantee is how much and when, not me, not anyone. I mean no disrespect to the Big "V" but I'm sorry Big "V", you are not GOD. You may be right MOST of the time but nobody is right ALL of the time. Just this once, let me be right and you can be wrong. I will let you be right everytime hereafter. Time heals all. If you don't have time, good luck guessing which way this market and QCOM are headed. You've got a 50/50 chance of guessing correctly.
