E*TRADE NEWS.... I hear from a good source that E*Trade is buying Tradescape, the biggest day-trading firm out there. Tradescape is a
privately held NYC firm run by Omar (middle name is Sharif, BTW!) Amanat that lets investors trade directly, not like most online outfits where
you are really using an intermediary. Tradescape was planning to go public and/or looking around for another partner at one point, but I hear this
one should go down over the next week or so. Companies declined to comment.
