You are perfectly justified in saying that INTC might dip next week, due to options expiry, FOMC meeting and other market dynamics. But, I would suspect, that INTC in 2000 would trade closely with market (a bullish one, I would predict) rather than lagging behind it in the past year.

The Street may finally realize that INTC is no longer a silicon factory, but into networking, wireless, broadband and all those catchy things.
