Fraud or opportunity? Opportunity for huge gains IMHO. IDC has had problems getting paid but has had patents for all TDMA -GSM which is used wrldwide compared to QCOM 15% of phones with CDMA. What has changed is not only court enforcement of payments from slackers but the ITU world wide has approved the basic engine for all 5 standards to IDC IPR patents which have just been revalidated by US patent office. That will bring in 1.25 to 1.50 on all phones using approved standards in 2002. QCOM has fought bitterly against IYU because they do not control. Ericy settlement with QCOM made them and Ericy settlement will do same for IDC.

The street.com put out news before the bell but everyone said Kramer short. Rahm got so many complaints from IDC holders for his ignorance he struck back with a 3 page report blasting them for everything negative from past 4 years. His report was the most MISS-information I have ever seen from an investment banker. He got even for criticism in their pockets. But he hurt his own MK holders who held the stock.

The facts are there on both technology and ITU approvals. I look for shorts to carry down further today. Panic selling yesterday and daytrades were responsible. QCOM will not be involved with DoCoMo in 3G. IDC is setting up office in Japan to assist Nokia conmverting them to BCDMA. Truth may be slow but reward hugely.

I didn't sell. IDC has collected 300 million already for TDMA - GSM and I'm sure NOK didn't pay them to settle if tech wasn't there.

I will be remembered as stupid or wise only by outcome.
