I visited with the folks at APA Optics this morning and, unfortunately, no one remembers your phone call.
The Chief Executive Officer is Dr. Anil K. Jain. The place of business is Blaine, Minnesota. I feel pretty confident if you called and gave your name, Dr. Jain would be more than happy to visit with you. Kind of strange that the positive reaction from the Dallas Trade Show was for a "wannabe" product.
Have you ever been to Aberdeen, South Dakota? Beautiful country. Hunting, fishing, 15 minutes to work, no traffic jams and a new world class facility.
Post #15, paragraph 3, you state and I quote "I shouldn't offer any *opinion* for a variety of reasons, but I will make a couple of technical observations about their product and the telco market for WDM devices."
I certainly have no problem with anyone stating their opinion. That is the great thing about SI and these threads. However, I would appreciate, after talking with Dr. Jain, you return to the thread and let us know if your opinion has changed regardin post #25.
