FASTCOMM TO RELEASE FRAD
WITH INTEGRAL T1/E1 DSU/CSU

New FRADs will have T1/Fractional T1 and E1/Nx64 Capabilities
for Maximum Throughput;
56 Kbps DDS DSU/CSU Versions also Updated for 64 Kbps
DDS2 Compatibility

STERLING, VA, April 23, 1997-FastComm Communications Corp.
announced today that it will begin shipments of T1/E1 equipped Frame
Relay Access Devices (FRADs) during its next Quarter. The new
versions of FastComm's most popular MonoFRADT , EtherFRADT
and RingFRADT network access devices will offer a choice of T1
with Fractional T1 capability, and E1 (G.703) with Nx64 capability,
clocking at from 56 Kbps to 2 Mbps. Immediat ely following the
availability of the new versions, FastComm will announce T1/E1
upgrades for existing units with DDS compatible DSU/CSUs.

Coincident with the above, FastComm is also updating its very popular
FRADs with integral 56 Kbps DDS compatible DSU/CSU to also support 64 Kbps DDS2 service. This capability will also be available in the popular MonoFRADT, EtherFRA DT and RingFRADT network access devices.

Both versions of the product will continue to support the complete
compliment of remote network monitoring, diagnostic and control
features already deployed in FastComm FRADs, including compatibility
with available, popular network monitoring software fro m other vendors.
