In addition to Identix, check out Saflink (ESAF) on the Nasdaq. Pretty nice move as of late. Key points- - Major shareholder injected $5 mm in cash - Has signed reseller agreements with major players - Is moving offices to Washington state to be closer to Internet companies. The above does not justify the price move from 1 7/8 to 4, but you know how speculation can drive a stock (E.g. Corel). I believe (without substantial proof) that we may hear a major biometric announcement from the Harris Government this year relating to Health Cards. My buddies in Metro Toronto Ambulance say the Health Minister is feeling the heat over Healthcare fraud.
