Well let me try. Article is in a number of parts.Story about the riches created by investing in start ups.
Article about John Doerr Venture Capitalist Silicon Valey merchant Bank Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers. Talks about his management and investment style. His early investment in the likes of Netscape,Amazon.com,and Excite.
Softbank's Masayoshi Son who owns as much as 70% of Japan's Internet economy, and a big slice of North America's.
David Wetherell of CMGI and how he has his five member emergency board on the ready 24 hours a day to make decisions on new investments.
Over all a positive article on the new economy and the sucesses so far of this type of investment companies.
The only negative in the article in my opinion was the statement that Softbank lacks diversity and that their was a risk that the internet bubble could burst.
