In my experience you are going to have an easier time shorting pennies and high flyers with a full service broker but you will also pay through the nose for commission. I have found Schwab better for shorting than Greenline but that could all just be a fluke since I didn't use Greenline to short that often... maybe someone else who used Investorline for shorting and switched to Schwab can comment.
