Re: Late-in-the-Day Strength COMS now at 43 1/8. I feel sick because I didn't follow my own trading guidelines. Not in the spirit of "I told you so," but in an attempt to hone trading skills, I'm going to re-visit last Friday. As you recall, the market ignored interest rates and the LU warning and roared higher. It even accelerated into the close although this may have been short covering. COMS only perked up late in the day. A late day rise in a very strong market is suspect. There is an indication that the stock is not moving on fundamentals, or even its own technical strength ( or lack of same) but is being reluctantly pulled up by the good performance of its peer stocks. In other words, the rise is suspect. Long term I'm bullish and even buying more today. I too believe we'll go to 60 within a week of the IPO. But this morning I'm also disgusted with myself.
