I just wrote Herb Greenberg saying that quoting Fleckenstein was the kiss of death. That guy has been wrong longer the Marx and Lenin. You have to understand that Herb Greenberg bases his column by talking almost exclusively to bears and short sellers. His view of the world is jaundiced and his batting average could be a lot better. He occaisionally does well when he surfaces accounting irregularities or hocus pocus witht the books, but he is next to useless on evaluating bearish vs. bullish evaluations.

Coincidentally, an excellent way to melt down your assets is invest in Fleckenstein's fund. In the greatest bull market in history, it is WAY down. I mean WAY WAY down. He has very little money under management lately. No surprise, given his track record, which is worse than hideous.
