There's a possibility, therefore, that during the 2000 calendar year, the Russians will make more platinum available than has been the case in the past, or in the immediate past....And, in fact, if the marketers are left to market the platinum, they do a very, very good job of it, as they've done with palladium in the past couple of years. ----snip---- "Norilsk, which is the major producer in Russia, because of the very high palladium prices, is awash in roubles and does not need cash."
