I am far from being bearish on Intel. Yet I am kind of worried about the PC industry as a whole, and undeniably Intel still makes most of its money in DT PCs.

If I am bullish on Intel, it is because of the non-DT PCs businesses. But they are kind of new. In consumer space, I can tell you that they are far from 100% clear on what is the best way to compete. In the server space, Intel is a low-cost provider and a small player (vs. Sun), not a situation it is used to being in. etc.
And Intel HAS to fix its production thing (which to my knowledge is not done yet).

I guess the analysts that are bearish either fail to understand that Intel is trying to diversify, or believe it will fail doing so. I do believe they have what it takes (and WHO it takes) to succeed. I still worry that as it becomes a huge conglomerate type of company, they will not achieve in the future the levels of growth they reached in the mid 90s.

So bullish yes, but my view still is the glory days (split split re-split) might be behind us. 41 times earnings IS a lot... INTC, please prove me wrong.
