It is nice to see anyone who was sophisticated (and lucky) enough to buy Softbank below $100 buying in again at these current levels over $750. Actually Frankfurt closed this morning at around $848 US. I understand that Softbank Frankfurt is not "fungible" with Softbank Japan. That is, they are not directly replaceable for each other. I believe that is a very minor point, but it is sometimes cited as a reason for price discrepancies. The Schwab Global guys have been trying to get permission to trade Softbank in Frankfurt for their clients, but upper management won't let them. Schwab could also fill those odd lot requests if they could trade in Germany.

In the internet volatility age I have tried to use the technique of selling puts in a stock that I would like to own and I've been disappointed. The stock runs away from me on the upside and I am left with the small profit from selling the put but I didn't actually buy the stock because I was afraid to tie up the cash when I might need it to exercise the put. I suspect that the volatility will continue and there will be ample time to buy in for the fleet of foot...
