CPQ:

From what I understand, they have soundly reestablished themselves in the profitable server market, which presumably is key.

In the desktop arena they have been using both INTC and AMD
processors, which has given them the ability to cover all price points properly. In contrast DELL is still all INTC
but Gateway has just announced recommencing to use AMD (because of INTC's inability to supply in quantity)

The free PC (because you sign up for Internet monthly $)
seems to be petering out on account of the Free Internet
movement. So much the better for the desktop makers.

I like CPQ right now and am looking for the right entry
point. I think it still has lots of room to run.

Best wishes,
Jim
