Message to all:
The last dozen or so messages in this thread are shining examples of why it's a waste of my time to try to micromanage this thread. The message to which I'm responding is but one of many in which others are referred to as "babies" or "childish".
I wish you could see it from this side.
There are two or more factions of people using this and a couple of other similar threads for an ongoing fight that I'd generously describe as "squabbling". That in itself isn't a problem, though. Why? Because it seems everyone involved on all sides has determined that this is to be the norm.
This is primiarly a stock discussion site and it's unfair to the users of the stock threads that so much of my time is being tied up with this thread, so that's coming to an end right now.
Every day, my inbox gets filled with complaints about statements made by others or their general conduct in this thread, and when I check, I consistently find that it's far from being the one-sided thing both sides tell me it is.
If people want to start another thread for the sole purpose of getting away from some of the participants of this thread, by all means let them.
If people want to ignore others, by all means, do so. However, it's unseemly (I'm being kind) to wave the Ignore flag in front of people, too.
If people want to be left alone, please just leave them alone.
My mistake in first intervening in this thread was not seeing that so many of the participants just want to fight. And some want to use me as one of their weapons.
No more. I have removed my bookmark from this thread so I can give the other threads (on which this site hangs its hat) the attention I was hired to give them.
If an attack is particularly vicious, I want to know about it. But I'd rather not hear any more of the complaints about things that so many participants have already decided will be the status quo for this thread.
