I have communicated with someone who works for Oceanic (Time Warner's Cable Comapany serving Hawaii).
Here are my questions (preceded by >) followed by the answers I received:

> Are you currently offering video on demand to your subscribers?

Yes, throughout the system.

> Can you tell me how that is being received -- are customers enjoying it?

Apparently. I sure do.

> are many ordering movies?

Yes

> is the system working well?

In homes where the return path levels are correct, it works very well. In others, we must schedule a technician visit to adjust signal levels.

> How many movies are currently offered?

About ten

> Can folks pause, rewind and forward, just like on a vcr?

Yes

>How much does it cost for a movie?

$3.95

> Are you using Concurrent Computer's server?

Yessir.

> When do you think they will increase the number of movies available?

ASAP

> Are people from Concurrent there all the time, making sure their equipment is running properly?

No

> Whose set top boxes are used? Scientific Atlanta?

Yes, SA Explorer 2000
