Molloy, I know of your GSM bias from the 20-25 people I communicate with they read the S&P QCOM thread more than I do they report that altho you have deep knowledge of the wireless technology, your bias of GSM is transparent between insults of them, you defend GSM irrationally some suspect you are a disgruntled Ericsson shareholder honestly, dont you think Europe in late y2000 is likely to become a wireless date backwater? esp in y2001? Do you get all your knowledge second hand? Some CDMA zealots might perceive a GSM bias, but they would be mistaken. I don't recall insulting anyone on the S&P thread. I don't hold any ERICY stock. Europe will not be a wireless backwater (who are the number one and number three handset manufacturers in the world?). Given the standards fragmentation, and looking at the services provided by US network operators, a case could be made that the US is the backwater (compared with Europe, Korea and Japan).
