TA on AOL is extremely bearish, despite the relentless pumping by managers and analysts, especially strong on CNNfn, AOL is trading below its 200 day moving average.

The perception is clear that Case recognized that he had built a house of cards, one that could never justify its current valuation. So he threw a hail Mary. During its 15 years of existence, AOL never created any viable content of its own. Time-Warner was supposed to fill that house of cards with cement.

No longer a pure internet play, the momentum players have moved on.
