LITTLETON, Mass. (Dow Jones)--Viisage Technology Inc. (VISG) received a contract to provide facial recognition technology to Global Cash Access and Infonox. Global Cash Access is an alliance of Bank of America Corp. (BAC), First Data Corp. (FDC) and USA Processing. In a press release Wednesday, Viisage said under the agreement, it will integrate its patented facial recognition technology into Global Cash Access's automated cashier machine. The automated cashier machine handles all automated teller machine functions, in addition to check cashing and wire transfer processing. Global Cash Access and Infonox agreed to supply automated cashier machine kiosks to Diebold Inc. (DBD).
