I agree with you...but please quit trying to "educate" these investors who act like stock splits increase a companies value. They have a belief system based on trading experience (I'm talking weeks and months of experience here!) where stocks that split go up. (and stocks that split more go up more --i.e. QCOM) So to them the number shares may really matter.
And now that I think of it...if I had the choice between owning 1 share that cost $1 million or owning 1 million shares that each cost $1, I'd go for the million shares. (That way I could sell some.)
