search engine works better now. not all the books are searchable. for example: if you search for The Century, a book that has taken the front of the book section (but, btw, i have no intention AT ALL of purchasing this book; Tom Brokaw is the man...), it'll give you results that have nothing to do with above book. and, btw, The Greatest Generation (Tom brokaw's book) can be found but with no cover image. try it yourself: walmart.com
so, there's still room for improvement. who knows ...they may just buy out amazon. lol. anything can happen. if amzn keeps going down they wont be single for long.

as to price, there's a matching policy but with a 1-per-costumer limit. not that good but ok if you buy just one book/plan to return some books. and i assume wmt operates in every state so they'll tax you in most states (some states don't have tax).

the funny part here is that they beat some of bamm's (http://www.booksamillion.com/) prices. (bamm distributes the books to wmt.) for example: Devil "Take the Hindmost: A History of Financial Speculation" costs $25.00 at bamm but 17.50 at wmt. in both cases the book is out of stock. btw --it's available at valueamerica.com for $16.25. nice book for yourself/present.
