Chris, computer prices are definitely NOT going up with the huge overhangs at the distributors. They will never go up again. The best they can hope for is that they will decline in price more slowly.

Now, the scamsters are trying to charge more by putting Rambus into boxes, but, so far, no takers. Paying more for a slower box is often a tough sell. <g>

On option commissions, there are no great brokers that I know of. The problem is, those who advertise low per option prices, like Marsh Block, still have minimums per trade. I regularly do $5 stock trades at Brown & Co. on my paired and arb positions and end up paying 5 times that for the accompanying options. I hate it when I get filled with a one lot on a 3/4 option and then pay another quarter for the commission. Of course, if I weren't so stingy about paying up, I could do the entire trade for the same commission. All or none prevents that, but it makes for fewer good fills over time.

So far, I still don't know why SLR and SFE are being hammered, but I sure am glad they are.
