Good morning Michael, -- NHL talks & day trade & AOB --

First I've seen on CBS that the Detroit's Avalanche are in fact the transplant from Les 'Nordiques' from Quebec (City), Quebec (Province), Canada (of course - and last not to offend Quebequers). They strike the Stanley's Cup on their first season in the US City of Denver... They have a terrific goal keeper Marc Roy former Canadien of Montreal (? I think). Quebec city used to be the historic place for Hockey inside the Province of Quebec, though I did always prefer Montreal's Canadien, and at their time the Calgary's Flames.

Well on IOMG, ... Selling put and the likes... I believe that's a very good strategy at this time for this stock. Because first you know there won't be suden dives, second there is still unusual amplitude (as compared to other stocks), 3td it looks a somewhat quality stocks, ... So I believe you should profir more than before (?) during the successive dives... That is interresting to learn.

I believe Book-to-Bill is somewhat positive at .84 from 0.81, though still below 1. The wave of the Pentium Pro should lift it as the year nears end (?). Indead INTC and MSFT are doing pretty well these days... even today... Ithink they should gain strength along with SUNW because of its stations beating up Silicon Graphics and the Java business.

IOMG today is totally indecisive it tried to hang to $42 1/2 then slipped through the lower buffer and right now is trying to escape the upper buffer of $40... May be buying put as came out of the lower $42 1/2 buffer would have made money ?

2 Utilities I followed as an index for the 30 years Treasury are down $1/8... (FPL & IDA). So I guess long rate are still climbing ? at least not going down.

Inflation came as expected 0.3% May CPI and 0.2% for core. Though core is higher than the previous 0.1% for April... The question is will the -0.1% PPI translates in the months ahead in lower CPI readings ? Giving this & the Presidential election I believe the Federal reserve won't touch the Discount Rate (5%), nor its Target for the Federal Funds (5 1/4%) in July.

What do you think of this presidential election ? Looks like uninspiring, at least. Clinton did not a bad job for the economy, though his character is not a perfect model (especially for his somewhat frequent abuses of power). Dole is somewhat dull... With no innovation in sight. I would prefer to see Clinton back with some opposition in Congress, knowing he is out in 4 years, than risk an uninspiring guy for may be 8 years... [Just a talk between foreigners].
