Blue, is it any wonder why AOL gets uptight when GNET's about to make a move? I say it's about to make a move because it's a feeling one gets after holding GNET awhile, right? (you'd know about that one better than me). The wonder is how AOL'd have the nerve to put ridiculous things like a sequence of corn reports since Jan. 4 in quotes/news of an internet stock on their Finance site?! Looking at 'em, notice some <GNET> futures abbreviation amidst the corn that could let them say it was a mistake if they're called on it... what a dumb schoolkiddish trick it is, like writing numbers so it looks alike when unsure of an answer on a test it's so DUH. Often the latest news for a moving stock is inaccessible on AOL, links are unreachable and headlines are misleading, and they print different headlines than the original ones on reuters prnewswire etc. We know this, and we've made money for a long time on perking our antenna up when we see such things happen there - & for watching what the sheepeople are doing it's Bar None. They've pulled tricks on GNET plenty tines before so it's a Doubleplusgood Omen when we see it but most folks using that PF site wouldn't realize it. Makes me wonder if someone actually read what i used to say about ducks getting fat eating corn on there LOL! It's even better to see them so snipingly jealous of SOMETHING ABOUT GNET that they do this ... but to put such frivolous and goofy stats in a site purportedly for widespread investment research access IS pathetic. Many times their volumes, even their prices and stats are Way Off (like a 130 52-week high on GO gee Blue how did we miss THAT one ... what a kwinkydink). We know from the message board experience/bad memory that they're not too interested in attracting researching investors who want to say what they please ... the boards on that get the most posts are about the subjects you'd see on Geraldo or Jerry Springer not about stocks. By Mistake or By Design? IMHO it's....u know. What's best about GNET and the whole Paul Allen kit 'n caboodle is the simplicity of operations. Making profits requires a streamlined target, not being all over the place with so many things going on it must whirl by in a blur. Haven't seen anything done with Netscape or Compuserve, that's just faded away... just a for instance. Wasting money buying properties that aren't utilized. And they're way behind on Wireless too - whatever happened to the gizmo shop they hyped awhile back? INSP isn't treated right on the PF boards either - real news about what's really happening with it is often missing or all news is blank. Could go on but might as well Squeeze The Lemon and keep using PF for the great Indicator that it is when reading between the lines and comparing what's on, what's not, & wondering why, right? PF might get even better with some LooneyTunes illustrations around the blurbs! 909s2U, Joan |
