Jim, My posting related my own technical opinion of the APA WDM box, and its applicability to WDM systems. Again, I don't think that it has any use in its current form, and I think that APA is way behind the curve when compared to Lucent, Corning, JDS, etc. For this reason, I wouldn't touch the stock. On the other hand, it seems that a lot of people here really like APAT as an investment based on the construction of a plant in SD, and hopes about some unspecified future product. I say: If you wanna speculate, go for it! That's what the market's there for! As far as the APA box appearing on the cover of Fiber Optic Product News: Fiber Optic Product News is basically an advertising venue, with a tiny amount of editorial content. To get on the front page, you only need to pay for the advertising space. It's that simple. Stuart
