KLP, Regarding MSFT being a monopoly, this is a joke by Washington D.C. types who wish they were Bill Gates.
AOL/TimeWarner is a monopoly by the standard MSFT is held up to, hell, AOL was a monopoly before TimeWarner by what MSFT is held up to. Any company that is at the top is a monopoly if treated like MSFT.
I'd like to see MSFT outsmart the Washington D.C. types for all their trouble. All MSFT has to do is spin off its internet interest and the rest will take care of itself. A MSFT internet tracking stock would be very nice and a real answer to Washington's harassment.
Regarding a source for terms, I believe both the Motley Fools and CNBC both have such information on their boards.
Regarding how do people who don't pay taxes get a tax credit? People in Washington D.C. allow this as they are too busy giving businesses who create jobs (and taxes) a hard time. Thus they don't have the time to look at real issues but only have the time to look at what will get them the most press so people at home feel like they are doing "something" inside the beltway.
