The actions of insiders are almost totally irrelevant. The one exception is during an extended down phase lasting many months when there is insider buying. This has some correlation to a change in direction. You clearly have no executive experience, for if you did, you'd know how meaningless insider actions are. Mostly it is the case that executives will hold when they personally need the money because the selling might sew seeds of doubt among the other stockholders. If you are rigorous about maintaining such statistics, you can't help but confirm what I've stated above. It is also interesting that you have chosen to omit insider selling in ATHM at the worst possible times. See Jermo in '98 at 17 1/2.
