DEF. lead = dU > dUi where dU is the instantaneous utility of the marginal ATHM sub and dUi is the same for the i-th ISP. Squandering means that k declines in time where dU + k = dUa Intuitively, the lead means a company will get the most money from subs even if they don't have the most subs.
