looking at a time frame relation between short term eod indicators, sixty min and fifteen min, see what ya find and let me know...this is fresh otta the box, experimental kinda stuff, read at yer own risk...lol
Tiric: Take a look at the scatter on TRID. alesisgb: k Tiric: It reset on the bo Tiric: damn...I may have to hold it for a month while it goes to 20 Tiric: unless the 3 dRSI pastes. That'll work alesisgb: got a channel goin Tiric: 2,1,2 stochs are in a great position. Still under 50. alesisgb: ok, i'm still looking at the smi's , be there in a min Tiric: MACD still early into a move Tiric: 13/3 CCI in Seattle Kill mode Tiric: 13,8,8 sto looks in a real hurry to get a knee going Tiric: 89,3,5 not yet over 80 Tiric: all the volume stuff is going apeshit Tiric: couldn't ask for a better 89 MA/MLR profile Tiric: 233,21,34 will run into itself and probably fail a crossover after a paste in a few days Tiric: drat...ok...that's it...it's gonna paste and then I'll sell. alesisgb: i've got an idea Tiric: what's that? alesisgb: gotta get my lab hat on first... Tiric: k alesisgb: the knee or breakdown of a 4.3.2 can often signal a top...i've been using qp2 cci 13 with a fifteen min as exits, with some success but not always... alesisgb: if we can get a 60 or 15min confirmation to tie to say both the 4.3.2 and cci13, it might be a better monster Tiric: You need a 3 with that 13. If the 13 is still above the 3...it's better to hold alesisgb: the cci's are different in qp2 alesisgb: vs parity Tiric: but they're consistent within qp alesisgb: in qp2 when cci13 starts baking over the 200 range, its close usually to the top Tiric: take a look at a 13/3 overlay. Does the 13 ever get over the 3 and stay there for a relatively extended period? alesisgb: with cci 13 eod, i use the midband on the fifteen as confirmation to exit...i wanna see what i can do with the 60 min and the 4.3.2 Tiric: 200 would be a top...I agree. But you'll also see the 13 trend sidewaysish just over and just under 100 alesisgb: i wonder if we took the multiple of the timeframe and applied it to the sixty if it would be the same... alesisgb: yeah, the bounce off 100 can be big Tiric: a drop under 60 is a sell while above 60...an upturn on the 3 is a buy Tiric: Thet would be a 16,12,9??? alesisgb: no, i was thinking 21.3.3 Tiric: 16,12,9 looks very good alesisgb: 21.15.10, a framework x5 Tiric: I use a 21,13,13...21 is a bit awkward with stos Tiric: 16,12,9 looks really good alesisgb: what's letting you put all 3 in? Tiric: Parity alesisgb: i mean in the sixty min chart Tiric: I'm using it on eod. If it works...it works alesisgb: the sixty min has 30 days data...it might be enuf to warrant statistically if i find one Tiric: MITK is just now signaling a buy on the 16,12,9. I'm going to have to really look into this Tiric: yeesh...non-fibs Tiric: I'll have to wear rubber gloves when I work with it alesisgb: lol Tiric: yep...everything else confirms that buy signal on those parameters. MITK's gonna scream Tiric: Very nice PVI/NVI bo alesisgb: i think i found it...its a little choppy...gonna tweak Tiric: k Tiric: wow...89,3,5 has an IHS bo coming off a knee as it's breaking over 80 on increasing volume. MITK is gonna smoke. Tiric: Can you write a scan for that? alesisgb: you can get the knees, the ihs is a lil tougher... Tiric: sheez...it's sweet Tiric: Take a look at this. MITK...89,3,5 Tiric: Buy a shitload of anything that you see doing that Tiric: I gotta have a cig now
alesisgb: omigod, i was right Tiric: what???what??? alesisgb: x5 Tiric: 20, 15,10? alesisgb: i have k and d , on the intraday...20 , 10 Tiric: 20,1,10 should sub for that on Parity alesisgb: 20, 10 on a sixty min chart... Tiric: kinda choppy alesisgb: put up 25 days of data on orcl alesisgb: with the 4.3.2 eod Tiric: k alesisgb: then go on si...put up a sixty min chart, with sto k 20...sto d 10 Tiric: k alesisgb: look at the sixty min signal on 1-7 Tiric: They only give me days/weeks/months on SI alesisgb: look at the sixty min top on 1-3 alesisgb: they got intraday Tiric: the "new" SI has indicators but no settings alesisgb: i coulda swore they upgraded to settings Tiric: dam...barchart.com has settings but no intraday Tiric: dam...investertech has intraday but no settings alesisgb: i gotta study this Tiric: k...I assume you get the 4,3,2 eod followed by an hourly 20,10 verification? alesisgb: so far it looks pretty decent alesisgb: man, if i can link the daily to the 60 to the 15... Tiric: You gotta get really tight on the 15 Tiric: try 16,9 on the 15 Tiric: or 16,8 alesisgb: wonder if it would work in frames again...you'd be lookin at an 80...? Tiric: 80, 40? alesisgb: no it may not work, cuz the data length isn't the same i don't think... Tiric: try 16,8 alesisgb: i need a different stock, something that ran up and back in last five days...hmm, that could be anything, lol Tiric: yep Tiric: DD alesisgb: k alesisgb: pull away from the fifteen mids as resistance, coincides with the breakdown of the sto pretty closely around 330 alesisgb: started struggle with 15 mids early on...1130ish Tiric: SOFN has a killer 3dRSI downtrend bo going here Tiric: How's the 4,3,2 eod....20,10 hrly look on it? alesisgb: gonna see how it stands up... Tiric: 4,3,2 is getting kinda loud alesisgb: appears to be quite fast, its going thru 80, i would call it pretty supportive based on the few examples alesisgb: the 1-7 lows are on the money Tiric: yeah...SOFN doesn't move slowly when it gets going Tiric: 1/7 is when I first brought it up to you
G'nite...don't stay up too late with your new toy gg alesisgb: it nailed every other bottom and top...but seems a bit ahead of itself here for some reason Tiric: positive divergence maybe? alesisgb: possible
