So, as I said, they are giving their earnings away and
you, as a shareholder, will tolerate it as long as the
stock price stays up. So the basic underlying fundamental
that makes Intel worth $100 is that everybody else seems
to think it ought to be worth that, and they will pretend
that earnings are not squandered as they are in order to
maintain this illusion. This is a rationale
no better than that for Askjeeves.com, Ariba, etc.
