Sensar Announces Senior Management Appointments in Net2Wireless, Inc.
SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Sensar Corporation (Nasdaq: SCII) announced today that Mr. Yitzhak Feldman has been appointed Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales, and Dr. Yossi Rubner has been appointed Executive Vice President of Research and Development of Net2Wireless, Inc. Both of these appointments will remain in place for the combined entity upon the merger of Net2Wireless, Inc. and Sensar Corporation.
Mr. Yitzhak Feldman (37) brings to Net2Wireless 12 years of sales and marketing experience in the telecommunications industry. Mr. Feldman's previous experience included senior positions with Intel, Telrad, Tadiran Telecom, ECI Telecom and most recently Foxcom. Mr. Feldman has extensive international experience working with Telecom Service Providers and Cellular Operators throughout the world. Mr. Feldman holds an MBA in Marketing from Bar-Ilan University and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Jerusalem College of Technology.
Dr. Rubner (35) holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, specializing in Computer Vision and Image Processing. His previous experience includes consulting for Xerox Corporation in the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) in the area of Image Understanding. Prior to that he was involved in the development of Desktop Publishing Systems in Scitex Corporation and spent a number of years in an Israel Defense Force Technical Unit from which he was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. Dr Rubner graduated from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, in 1991 with a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering (Summa cum Laude).
Dr. Rubner will work alongside Mr. Nechemia Davidson, CEO and co-founder of Net2Wireless, in defining the strategic product direction and focus for the company over the coming years. In addition, he will provide technical management and guidance as the current products are rolled out.
