Those so called "Slap Nuts" were the ones that made the big money on the early diamond success stories in the North West Territories when most Canadians had their thumbs up their asses. "Diamonds in Canada, eh ? When they was talkin' ice I thought they meant ice, Duh...pass another Molsons and turn on the hockey game."
Don't underestimate the Europeans - I am gaining respect all the time for their savy at picking up on good investments. I have seen more than one Canadian company that struggled to get domestic funding and it was the Europeans that ended up moving the money into what ended up being highly successful. It seems that Canadians in general wait until the analysts give the green light before they drop their hard earned beer and toque money into anything. It is surely a shame.
"Much respected projects like Voisey's Bay" - give your head a shake man - do you not read the papers ? - that one was Tobinated a long time ago.
If you want to short something look at N.V as it will be going from $9.00 to $5.00 within the year !
