Dear Mr. Dowd,

"This whole thing is a joke and I can't see Posner really being able to convince DOJ that there is no case and that the consumer has not been harmed ..."

We are CONSUMERS. And we will be hurt by the DOJ's actions if MSFT is prevented from improving their products.

I agree with your analysis regarding the case.

Listen to this:

Date May 18, 1998, from the official AG's Press Release of former Michigan Attorney General Frank J. Kelly:

" This company has been extremely successful. Yet, instead of being satisfied with its success, Microsoft has adopted a corporate policy to use any means ... to stop competition. The greed demonstrated by Microsoft is deplorable ... I am certain Microsoft will use its vast resources to protect its illegal monopoly. But before they go too far in this fight, I suggest they look at what is happening to the tobacco industry..."

TAKE BACK YOUR THREAT MR ATTORNEY GENERAL!
I DO NOT NEED YOUR PROTECTION!
PROTECT THIS ....!
