I too find this market irritating, but I feel a lot better holding an underperforming stock like TDM than I would an overperforming, high-flyer like Microsoft or Intel.

TDM's jewel is their ServerNet technology. They're breaking out of their old proprietary strategies and licensing ServerNet to other companies and licensing NT from Microsoft. They're still the vender of choice for fault tolerant computers. They've recently sold of UB to improve their profits.

These factors are just now showing up in the bottom line. If ServerNet becomes are hot as many think it will be, Wall Street has no choice but to sit up and take notice.
