CN, which has previously been mentioned on this thread, has moved from 1 5/8 at the beginning of the year to 2 1/2. The company is sitting on over $1.50 per share in cash and they acquired a small Internet company last year. I talked to the CFO yesterday and could not extract any information out of him. I have talked to him before and this is his normal behavior. The only piece of news that he would commit to was an earnings announcement at the end of the month. The stock has probably been run up on the hope that the company will become an Internet incubator. $30.0 MM in cash is a good start. Absent news, however, the stock will probably drift back below $2.
