Let me tell you that the latest CDMA Startac from MOT is no great phone either. It is more than 2 dB less sensitive that my QCP-860. It drops calls all the time and it is very hard to use. I was forced to take this one as it came with my car, but it is still a peice of junk. I will be returning it to Mercedes this week. It is so bad, I now carry my QCP-860 around in the car with me to make calls wihtout the handsfree kit.
