On a day like this with a nasty whipsaw in the first half hour, I can never figure out who the chumps are -- the guys who got their buy stops run at 75 right at the open, or anybody who sold into that fake collapse into 10:30 just before it ran straight up 2 points in 13 minutes. Same rocket out of 10:30 (10:28) as yesterday, huh? You gotta be anticipating that, which, as a general principle, I hate to do, if you want to try to catch it. Even when I'm at my broker's office and can look over his shoulder, it's a race with the devil to recognize the beginning of the fake collapse and get a trade off. ------ If anybody has a case for anything other than 75 for expiration, let's have it. 75 has been the price of choice the past couple of days. I'd say that the pre-expiration dump and recovery was Tuesday's low followed by that mean forced march on Wednesday, even if the numbers don't work out exactly.
