Dave, I can answer some of your question. I was on site a week ago. The leachate is dried by air (outdoor ambient temperature) in something which to my untrained eyes resembled a porous tarp. I don't believe they have had such a large amount of it to be processed in this way before. Might explain why it took longer than expected. It seemed many inches thick. They were recovering the liquid being gravity strained as well as concentrating the muck via evaporation. I know little more than that.
