I've been following this stock for almost 3 years now and I can not remember any period, when the price kept increasing after major announcements. In fact it always fell. We know that 2nd generation compound of LLY still has some time and Targretin ABC clinicals are due mid-2000 for release.

So, in the absence of any near-term events, LGND is performing rather strange, comparatively speaking.
