Steve, you know as well as I do that satan can "appear" to be anything he wants....even an angel of light..he also knows of the "rapture".and what the people believe and are waiting for......and he will be prepared, he is no dummy! Why did Jesus Himself warn so constantly and in depth as to end times...why didn't he just say....hey listen ye all my servants...don't worry about when I am going to return...orwhy bother telling us what it would be like in those days...Remember He also said He shortened those days for the elect's sake...so why bother...Why did He teach the Parable of the fig tree...and commanded us "to learn it"..why did He teach of the 10 virgins?...why bother saying."Blessed are they that are barren when I return....and woe to them that are with child in that day...they all tie in with the coming of satan AS Jesus.... Why did Paul warn us so often? Why did he bother telling us of how satan would come and where he would stand?..why bother..even told us that satan would come before Jesus...Said that Jesus could not return UNTIL...satan appeared fist..why bother.... And why did God allow John to have such an in depth blow by blow account of what was yet to come.. 21 Jam-packed chapters of warnings and signs ......just for the heck of it? Because if the rapture clan is right..welll..then who cares about what Jesus warned us of...none of it matters.! Why didn't Jesus just tell us....listen all my wonderful servants...you don't have to know anything about end times and what it will be like....and don't you worrry your little hearts over the fact that satan is coming before me.....yea..I know what the prophet Daniel said about satan coming and standing in the temple of God....but pay no mind to that......just be good little children and before things get" too hot" for your little precious feet...I will come back and rapture you right out of all that mess....my dear ones.! He warned us for a reason...it is just common sense...and it is written for our benefit....this is the generation of the fig tree...keep your eye on Jerusalem.!
