There are a lot of indicators different people rely on to pick the bottom. My own practice is to forget about trying, I am looking at $70. If it hits seventy and bounces back I will pick up more. If it has a day when it is down big time but closes at it's open (the candlestick chartest's doji or doji star or hummingbird doji) that is often a good indicator -- the bears were not able to hold the price down. If we don't get an "indicator" day, but you see the volume pick up big time to the positive side, jump in. Again, I think it is a mistake likely to cause indicision to try and pick an exact bottom.
