Actually, the K6-2P is basically the K6-2. When the notebook K6-2 first came out, the processor required less voltagae to run and was more "mobile", but then AMD started selling the K6-2P which was basically a desktop K6-2 in notebook form. This allowed AMD to sell the K6-2P at lower than notebook K6-2 prices. This is probably why the K6-2P notebooks on the market right now don't cost too much. The downside to the K6-2P is battery life is probably less than the notebook K6-2's would be.

You were probably thining of the K6-2+ which I'm still waiting on to come out.
