DTM Receives Citrix Platinum Certification-Citrix: The
Technological Platform for Application Service Providers
(ASP)
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--Management of DTM Information Technology Group
Inc. announces that Citrix Systems recently invited the Company to
become a Platinum Partner. Having integrated more than 100 Citrix
solutions for well-known companies such as Goodyear, Pratt &
Whitney, Visa Desjardins and Abbott Laboratories, DTM is a leader
in this niche in Canada. It is the only company in Quebec and one
of the few consulting companies across the country to have
received Platinum certification, the highest distinction awarded
by Citrix Systems.
A brilliant future is in store for Citrix "Thin Client"
technology. International Data Corporation forecasts that the
number of "Thin Client" licences worldwide will grow by
approximately 75 % annually between now and 2003.
Advantages of Citrix "Thin Client" technology
By centralizing applications on a server, "Thin Client" technology
cuts system ownership and support costs, while facilitating the
simultaneous deployment of new applications and any remote
application deployment. It also optimizes system use by enabling
any type of computer, no matter what platform it runs on, to
