CT: MSFT will carry whatever revenue reserves are appropriate according to GAAP. That is what they have done all along. MSFT is just very conservative in their adjudication of what is earned and what is not. SEC after them for being to conservative so I imagine they will be less conservative this time around. Of course then all the critics will cry that MSFT is cooking the books because they have forgotten how the SEC came down on MSFT a few months ago for being too conservative.MSFT gave guidance for at least 2-3 cents higher so having raised the hurdle to that level you can imagine that they will beat that number by a good margin. If you have not yet taken advantage of the present discount I would suggest that you do. This good deal won't last forever.JFD
