Nothing new there. If you've followed AKLM for any length of time (I have since about '94) they always blame their horrendous performance on platform transition woes, weak market, etc.
That's simply a very lame excuse for underachieving in a big way. Look at their competitors. THQI has one of the N64's hottest sellers in WWF2000. It may sell well over 1.5M units, while AKLM's WWF games sat on store shelves and sold miserably because they were lousy games.
The fact is, videogame sales for the well run companies, ERTS, TTWO, MWY, THQI, ATVI, are exploding, so there is no excuse for their current numbers.
It all comes down to quality of content, something AKLM has always lacked.
